(KMZA)--Seneca area motorists should be aware of a road closure now in affect.
Coming as part of the overall U.S. Highway 36 improvement project, northbound and southbound J4 Road at, and just north of the U.S. 36 intersection in Seneca, is closed to all traffic.
According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, the closure is made necessary for drainage pipe work in that area.
There will be no access to and from U.S. 36 from J4 Road through May 4th, and motorists should expect minor delays and use alternate routes until it reopens.
