(KLZA)-- The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer School Board unanimously approved a $1,200 annual salary increase for Humboldt Site Principal Lisa Othmer Monday evening. However, a salary increase was not approved for Table Rock Site Principal Kari Cover. A 30-cent per hour pay raise for all certified staff members was also approved.
The school district technology consultant, Jeremy Marteney met with the Board to make a presentation and answer questions. Board members had quite a few questions about technology. No action was taken. More discussion will take place during the May HTRS Board meeting.
A bid to re-key the entire old building at the Humboldt site to match the new addition was approved. Metal Door and Hardware submitted a bid of $16,592 to do the project, which was approved.
Humboldt Site Principal Lisa Othmer informed the Board that 4th grade students will be moved back to the Humboldt site beginning with the 2015-16 school year. 26 students attended the recent Kindergarten Roundup.
The expenditure of $3,599 for new volleyball standards was approved along with $1,784 for improvements to the track at Power Field to improve a drainage problem.
