(KLZA)-- If you were driving on Stone Street in Falls City Monday morning you may have noticed a van parked partially through the front of the Southeast Nebraska Insurance Agency Building at 1801 Stone Street.
45-year-old Edward Hunker of Falls City was pulling into a parking stall. He told the Falls City Police that he hit the accelerator instead of the brake on the Chevy Van he was driving, causing the vehicle to jump the curb and strike the building.
The initial estimate on damage to the building is $15,000. Damage to the van was estimated at $1,500.
Hunker was issued a citation for negligence.
No injuries were reported.
