(KAIR)--An Atchison man, accused of marijuana possession, has entered a plea in the case.
57-year-old Eugene Wabski waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded guilty to felony possession of marijuana during a hearing Friday morning in Atchison County District Court. In exchange for the plea, several other charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct were dismissed.
Sentencing has been set for May 15th.
Wabski was arrested late last month after police were called to a residence where he was causing a disturbance. During the arrest, officers found what appeared to be marijuana in his possession.
