(MSC News)--Juveniles fishing at a St. Joseph pond snag clothing and spot boots, leading to the recovery of a body by authorities a short time later.
KQ2-TV reports that happened Tuesday at Corby Pond, with the body identified only as that of a white man.
The investigation continued into the night, and included police searching a home near 35th and Sacramento. No word has been made public as to why they focused on the residence, but investigators do call the the death of the man suspicious in nature.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
An autopsy was conducted Tuesday.
