(KNZA)--A Blair area man has been sentenced in Doniphan County District Court on charges in two separate cases.
In the first case, 50-year-old Dean Cochran was placed on 18 months supervised probation on charges of aggravated battery and driving under the influence stemming from a vehicle-pedestrian accident last July.
Authorities say Cochran was driving a pickup on July 20th when he struck Dee Anna Kelley as she was walking with her daughter on 190th Road in the Blair area. She required hospitalized treatment.
In the second case, Cochran was sentenced to one year in jail on a charge of DUI. That charge was filed after authorities say he showed up intoxicated for a court hearing last September.
