(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners spent part of their meeting time Tuesday opening sealed bids.
The Board opened three bids for a new 4-wheel drive pickup for the Road Department. Two bids were received from Sid Dillon of Lincoln for Nissan Titan pickups. One in the amount of $34,644 and one for $34,925. Hullman’s Ford of Falls City submitted a bid for a 2015 F-150 for $28,925 and Armbruster Motor Company of Falls City submitted a bid fo $27,472 for a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. All the bids were accepted for review.
Bids were also opened for steel materials for the Road and Bridge Department and for culvert materials for the Road and Bridge Department. All of the bids were accepted and referred to Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert for review.
Commissioners also voted to declare the week of April 6 – 10 as Public Transit Week in Richardson County and to publicly recognize Richardson County Transit for exceptional services provided to residents of Richardson County.
