(KAIR)--An Atchison man is facing drug related charges after allegedly causing a disturbance in front of a residence.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says officers were called to the home, located in the 900 block of Kansas Avenue around 11:00 Tuesday morning, after a resident had attempted to get 57-year-old Eugene Wabskie, who was allegedly yelling obscenities at people passing by, to leave the property.
Wabskie was arrested after police unsuccessfully attempted to calm him down.
Wilson says that during the arrest, officers found what appeared to be marijuana and pipe in Wabskie's possession.
Wabskie was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including disorderly conduct, obstructing the legal process, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
