(KMZA )--The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of an enclosed trailer from a rural Manhattan construction job site.
Sheriff Greg Riat says the white 12-foot single axle trailer was taken sometime between Friday and Monday from the area of Roepke and Excel Roads.
Riat said at the time of the theft, the trailer had black lettering of VPS on the sides.
He said the trailer, containing rear and side doors, was displaying a blue Kansas exempt trailer plate. Riat said the trailer contained concrete tools and anchor bolts.
The loss was estimated at more than $35,000.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at (785) 457-3353.
