(KAIR)--A St. Joseph man is jailed in Atchison County, held on charges related to a domestic disturbance.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says that officers were called to a residence located in the 1400 block of Commercial Street around 6:00pm on March 12th for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the victims; a 40-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman told police that the suspect, 25-year-old Cody Horton had left the scene.
A subsequent investigation showed that Horton allegedly made several serious threats to both women before allegedly grabbing the 18-year-old by the face and headbutting her. She suffered minor facial injuries, but did not required hospitalized treatment.
Horton turned himself into the Atchison County Jail Sunday, and is facing charges including criminal threat, criminal restraint, and domestic battery.
