(KAIR)---Another continuance has been granted in the case of an Atchison man accused of sex crimes against a child.
37-year-old Charles Philips appeared in Atchison County District Court Friday morning for a status hearing. Judge Martin Asher set a new court date for March 6th at the request of Philips' attorney.
Philips was arrested last month after a police investigation showed that he allegedly sexually abused the female victim multiple times over a three year period, starting in the fall of 2011 when she was 11-years-old.
