Orscheln to Buy Sabetha ALCO Store
(KNZA)--Orscheln Farm and Home has signed a contract to purchase the building that currently houses the ALCO store in Sabetha.
The Sabetha Herald reports the contact was signed Monday with Sabetha Retail Development LLC, which has owned the building for more than 18 years and rented it to ALCO.
Orscheln currently operates retail stores locally in Falls City and Marysville. The Midwestern retail chain offers farm and ranch supplies, livestock supplies, feed and various other items.
ALCO announced in November that all stores would be closing due to the company’s bankruptcy. Since that time, ALCO has been liquidating its store. The liquidation is set to be complete within the next week.
