Seneca Fire Dept Presents Annual Report
02/09/2015

(KMZA)--The Seneca Volunteer Fire Department responded to 62 calls last year.

Fire Chief Allen Henry presented the department’s annual report to the City Council last week.

Henry said the department responded to 46 rural calls in 2014 and 16 in the city.

He says the department has twenty-eight full-time volunteers, and makes the effort to maintain that number.

Henry also reminded the Council that the city’s 20-year-old fire truck is due to be replaced in 2016.  He was asked to return with cost estimates before the city has their annual budget meetings.

Henry will remain as fire chief for 2015.
