(KAIR)--A pickup truck that was taken while it was parked in front of an Atchison business Friday afternoon has been recovered.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, the truck was reported stolen just after 3:30 after it was left running outside of the business, located in the 300 block of South Tenth Street.
Police began a search for the vehicle and investigators were quickly able to determine that a person staying in a nearby motel had allegedly taken the vehicle.
45-year-old Kelly Duff was arrested just after 6:00 when he returned to the motel in the truck to claim his possessions. He was booked into the Atchison County Jail on a charge of felony theft.
