(KAIR)--The Missouri Department of Transportation has issued a travel advisory for the northern part of state due to adverse weather conditions.
MODOT is reporting blowing and drifting snow on east-west roads including U.S. route 136. Snow covered roads are also being reported.Vehicles with a high profile should also be aware of high winds.
Motorists in this area should not travel if they can avoid it.
These conditions are expected to continue through Sunday night and should subside by Monday morning.
