(KAIR)--The Community Development Director for the city of Atchison will leave her position and take a similar job in the city of Lansing.
According to City Manager Trey Cocking, Stefanie Leif has agreed to become Lansing's Director of Community Development and Tourism. He says that “It's a great opportunity for Stefanie to take this opportunity with the city of Lansing. We are going to definitely miss her. She has had a great impact on the city in the four years she has been with us.”
Leif's last day in her current position is February 13th.
Cocking says they will look at how they want to fill the position going forward, and hope to have a long term replacement in place very soon.
