(KNZA)--An April 16th jury trial has been set for a former Jackson County fire chief accused of embezzlement.
Jackson County Attorney Shawna Miller says the trial for 45-year-old Soldier resident Ryan White was set Monday during a hearing in Jackson County District Court. The trial is scheduled for two days.
White pleaded “ not guilty” last month to two counts of felony theft and five counts of misdemeanor theft.
He’s accused of stealing around 39-hundred dollars while serving as treasurer of the Soldier Ball Association from August 2012 through May of last year.
White remains free on $15,000 bond.
