(KNZA)--New rules mean no more kids hanging out on weekends at the St. Joseph mall without adult supervision.
KQ2-TV reports the East Hills Shopping Center is launching a new youth supervision policy starting today ( January 23rd).
Mall guests 16 and younger must have an adult with them at all times after 5 in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays. The parent or adult can supervise up to five kids, but they must provide proof of age to security guards at the mall entrances. If they don't, they'll be asked to leave.
The policy follows increased disturbances at the mall on Fridays and Saturdays and complaints from shoppers and businesses.
