(KAIR)--An Atchison teen was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after a police investigation into unlawful sexual relations with a minor.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says the investigation started earlier Wednesday after the 15-year-old victim's guardians reported it to police. Investigators were able to determine that 18-year-old David Keister Jr. had allegedly had sexual relations with the victim two times over the past few months.
Keister was booked into the Atchison County Jail on a charge of unlawful voluntary sexual relations.
Wilson says the victim was 14-years-old at the time the crime allegedly occurred.
