(KMZA)--The Marysville Police Department is searching for a man accused of impersonating a police officer.
According to the police department, a man driving a white pickup truck with a single red flashing light pulled over a local resident on North 11th Street Sunday evening. The man walked up to the car and asked to look in the driver’s trunk. Despite the man’s repeated insistence, the female driver declined to open her trunk and left the stop. Police say she was followed to her work and the pickup left.
The police department says they never use a single red light to pull anyone over.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Marysville Police Department at 785-562-2343 or your local law enforcement agency.
