(KAIR)--An Atchison man, facing several drug related charges, has agreed to a plea deal in the case.
40-year-old Robert Ford appeared in Atchison County District Court Monday afternoon to enter a guilty plea to one count of possession of methamphetamine, In exchange for the plea, four other counts, including possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of oxycodone, possession of morphine, and possession of marijuana were dropped.
Judge Martin Asher set a sentencing date for January 23rd.
Ford was arrested last month after officers with the Atchison Police Department stopped him for speeding on a motorcycle in the 700 block of Kearney. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered what appeared to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
