(KNZA)--A Horton woman is arrested following what authorities say was an argument with a relative while armed with knives.
Horton Police Chief John Calhoon says it happened Friday night, with 58-year-old Brenda Bindel taken into custody. “An officer responded at approximately 6:30 PM to 405 East 16th, which is the Lake Village apartment complex,” Calhoon tells MSC News. “Upon arrival and investigation, it was determined that Miss Bindel had used some large kitchen knives to threaten a relative that was in the apartment with her.”
Bindel was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Brown County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault.
