(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Commissioners conducted a public hearing Tuesday on closing a portion of a road. Following the hearing the Board adopted a resolution to close a portion of a county road starting approximately 400 feet south of the intersection of Highway 65 and 623 Boulevard.
The Board reviewed the Health Risk Assessment and determined that Pawnee County would not participate but did decide to participate in the Health Wellness Fair again this year.
Commissioners voted to retain Donald Siske as the representative for the Veteran’s Service Board from American Legion Post #289.
Emergency Manager Clint Strayhorn met with Commissioners to discuss the “9-1-1” call center updates. April Sejkora presented a new Local Emergency Operations Plan book to the Board which will be kept in the Board meeting room.
