Governor Brownback

(MSC News)--Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has proclaimed November 29th as “Small Business Saturday” in Kansas.
The proclamation is made to highlight the importance of small businesses to the state's economy.
Brownback calls such businesses “vital,” saying they employ 75 percent of all working Kansans.
Small Business Saturday was founded in 2010 by American Express to help businesses gain more customers, timed with what is traditionally the busiest shopping weekend of the year.
The National Federation of Independent Businesses says the holiday shopping season is crucial to small businesses.
