(KNZA)--A rural Horton man is identified as the driver of a vehicle that crashed in Brown County Sunday morning.
According to Undersheriff Randy Linck, 42-year-old Melvin Lewis was behind the wheel of a vehicle that ran off the road, went airborne and then flipped over.
It happened in the area of K-20 and Jackrabbit Road.
Initial reports indicate that Lewis required hospitalized treatment following the wreck.
Linck says he has since been cited for driving under the influence.
The investigation is continuing.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Brown County Rescue Squad, the Horton Fire Department, Horton Ambulance, and the Horton and Kickapoo Tribal Police Departments.
