(KAIR)--A Leavenworth County non-profit organization is one of several Kansas organzations that will receive funding from a federal grant program designed to help victims of crime.

Governor Sam Brownback announced Monday that he is awarding nearly $4 million in grants for the 2015 Federal Victims of Crime Act, or VOCA, Victim Assistance Grant Program. Leavenworth's Alliance Against Family Violence will receive approximately $110,600 of that money.
