(KLZA)-- A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office report indicates that a medical emergency may have been the contributing factor in a mishap Saturday afternoon a mile and a half east of Highway 73 on 712 Road in Richardson County.
84-year-old Norman Kuker, of Falls City, was driving a 2013 Ford pickup and may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the wreck. Kuker was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, it appeared the pick-up went out of control while eastbound on 712 Road, veered off the north side, and struck an embankment and spun around in the north ditch where it came to rest.
Passenger Maxine Kuker was not hurt.
Richardson County Emergency Management also responded to the scene.
