(KNZA)--A horse was rescued from a swimming pool at a Jackson County residence Saturday morning.
Sheriff Tim Morse says the sheriff’s office received a report shortly before 8:30 of a horse that had fallen into an in ground residential swimming pool in the 13-thousand block of 118th Road. Morse says the horse reportedly fell through the pool cover and into the pool, which was up to 10 feet in depth. The Sheriff's Office and the Hoyt Fire Department responded to the scene. Morse says the Hoyt Fire Department was able to rescue the horse from the pool. The horse appeared to be uninjured.
