(KNZA)--Special honors for a local Boy Scout are planned during the Veteran's Dinner set for Monday evening in Hiawatha.
Payton Trosclair, a senior at Hiawatha High School, has been selected as the American Legion Post #66 Boy Scout of the Year.
Post Commander Steve Winter says the choice is made as part of a statewide effort to honor at least one local youth in every community where the American Legion has a post.
Recognition for Trosclair will be given during the 21st annual Brown County Veterans Day dinner beginning at 6:00 Monday evening at the Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church, located at 210 Lodge Road.
