(KLZA)-- About 100,000 gallons of water is estimated to have been lost due to a water main break at 17th and Harlan Street in Falls City. The leak was discovered Sunday afternoon. A company was brought in to pinpoint the break which was found and repaired by around 1 p-m Monday afternoon.
It will take a couple of days for the dug up area to dry out where the leak was. Cement will be poured at that time, probably by the end of this week.
Drivers are asked to slow down around the area where the break was as southbound Harlan Street is narrowed to one lane at that location.
