(KAIR)--The Kansas Republican Party has begun a bus tour that will bring party members to several locations across the state, including Atchison and Leavenworth ahead of the November 4th election.
The tour will make a stop in Atchison Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 at Riverfront Park, located at 1300 Main Street. Senator Pat Roberts, Governor Sam Brownback. Lieutenant Governor Jeff Colyer, State Attorney General Derek Schmidt, Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Treasurer Ron Estes, United States Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, and state Insurance Commissioner candidate Ken Selzer are all scheduled to appear, along with former United States Senator Bob Dole.
The event will start with a meet and greet, followed by comments from the party members, and will wrap up by an additional meet and greet session.
The tour will then make its way to Leavenworth, with a stop at the Downtown Farmer's Market scheduled from 10:30-11:00.
