(KNZA)--A Sabetha man will stand trial on a charge of indecent solicitation of a child.
21-year-old Tex Goodpasture waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday and was bound over to Brown County District Court on the felony charge. Arraignment was set for November 17th before District Judge Jim Patton.
Goodpasture was arrested in September following an investigation by the Hiawatha Police Department.
He will released on an O.R. bond and taken into custody by the Nemaha County Sheriff's Department on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear.
Meanwhile, the preliminary hearings in two other Brown County child sex cases were postponed Wednesday.
The hearing for 32-year-old Michael Wilburn, of Everest, was continued to December 10th. Wilburn was arrested last month on felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and furnishing alcoholic beverages to a minor for illicit purposes.
And the hearing for 43-year-old Hiawatha resident Lonnie Johansen was continued to December 17th. Johansen was arrested earlier this month on two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
He remains in the Brown County Jail on a half-million dollars bond.
