(KAIR)--The Board of Atchison County Rural Fire District #2 is conducting the second of two informational meetings aimed at bringing Atchison County residents up to date on the proposed new fire building in the county.
The meeting is scheduled to take place Thursday night at 7:00 in the Effingham blue building. Members of the board will be on hand to explain why the new building is needed, how they are working on a grant to fund the building, as well as answer any questions residents may have.
The first meeting, which covered similar information, took place last month.
