(KNZA)--A Highland man escaped serious injury when he lost control of his motorcycle early Sunday morning.
It happened on U.S. Highway 36 in Saint Joseph, Missouri as the 42-year-old motorcyclist was westbound near 22nd Street.
KQ2-TV reports he was ejected after he lost control, but the motorcycle continued forward, crashing near 10th Street.
Saint Joseph Police say he suffered only minor injuries but was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
His name has not yet been made public.
The wreck happened around 12:30 Sunday morning.
