(KAIR)--A Friday afternoon traffic stop lands two Atchison residents behind bars on several drug related charges.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says the stop was made because the vehicle's passenger, 25-year-old Kurrie Albright, was known to have had a detain order issued against her for probation violation.
Albright was taken into custody on charges including possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to the detain order.
The vehicle's driver, 24-year-old Chris Studdard, was also arrested. He is facing several charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.
Albright remains in the Atchison County Jail on a $15,000 cash/surety bond.
Studdard posted bond, and was released Saturday.
