(KNZA)--The Administrator of the Hiawatha Chamber of Commerce has resigned.
Cassie Waggoner, of Everest, began serving in the role in an internship capacity on August 5th following her selection by the Chamber Board of Directors in July.
The reason for her decision, received by the board Tuesday, has not been made public. Chamber board members will oversee day to day operations until a new administrator is hired, as decided when the Chamber Board met Wednesday.
The search to fill the position is expected to begin in the near future.
