(KNZA)--The proposed 2014-2015 budget for South Brown County USD 430 calls for a nearly 6 mill property tax levy drop.
During a special meeting Monday evening, the board of education approved the nearly 11.6 million dollar budget for publication.
The proposed budget contains an estimated tax rate of 53.699 mills, which is to generate nearly 1.4 million dollars.
The board will consider adoption of the budget following a public hearing at 6 the evening of August 11th prior to the start of their regular meeting.
