(KNZA)--An Atchison woman is dead as the result of a Friday night single vehicle Doniphan County crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identifies the victim as 58-year-old Pamela Blair.
She was the driver of a Mazda Miata, eastbound on 100th Road, just west of Lonestar Road, 5 miles northeast of Atchison, shortly before midnight.
The car left the roadway and entered the north ditch where it struck an embankment and flipped over.
Blair was taken to the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home in Atchison.
A passenger, 59-year-old Phillip Theurer, of Atchison, suffered possible injuries but was not transported for treatment.
The patrol says both Blair and and Theurer were not wearing seatbelts at the the time of the fatal crash.
