(KLZA)-- 39-year old Randy Ninemires was arrested Friday afternoon by the Falls City Police Department. Ninemiers was the subject of a shoplifting investigation but was arrested on several charges.
Officer James Wasson made contact with Ninemires in the 2000 block of Morton Street. During the arrest Ninemires was uncooperative and was jailed on a felony complaint of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of a police officer. He was also cited on the shoplifting charge.
Assistant Police Chief Jamey Baker said he believes Ninemires is from Leona, Kansas but has been residing in Falls City recently.
Ninemires is currently in the Richardson County Jail awaiting an appearance in County Court.
