(KMZA)-The flooring will be replaced in the lower level of the Nemaha County Courthouse.
Following discussion, the County Commission on Tuesday accepted bids for the project.
The commission accepted a bid from Associated Insulation, of Manhattan, for the removal of just over 21-hundred square-feet of floor tile at a cost of $5,800, and a bid from Kansas City-based Epoxy Coating Specialists for the installation around 3,000 square-feet of new flooring at a cost of $29,798.
The flooring is being replaced because the tiles have been popping up and bubbling.
The senior services, appraisers and juvenile probation officer Ray Blevins offices are located in the lower level.
The Commission also opened two bids received for the electrical work to be done in the construction of the new fair building. However, no decision was made.
And the commission set a public hearing for Monday, June 9th at 10 to consider vacating a portion of B Road between sections 19 and 20 in Home Township.
