(KNZA)--A two-vehicle wreck in Leavenworth County Saturday morning sent a McLouth woman to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at the intersection of 155th Street and Fairmount Road about one mile north of Basehor around 10:45.
The Patrol says says 35-year-old Tonganoxie resident Kevin Lorfing was traveling north on 155th Street when he attempted to cross Fairmount Road and didn’t see an eastbound pickup driven by 24-year-old Jennifer Moore, which struck Lorfing’s vehicle in the left front corner.
Moore was transported to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City for treatment of injuries.
Lorfing received possible injuries, but according to the Patrol report wasn’t transported for medical treatment. Four passengers in his vehicle escaped injury.
