(KAIR)--An Atchison woman facing multiple drug related charges has entered into a plea agreement.
37-year-old Kelly McGuire appeared in Atchison County District Court Friday morning and entered a guilty plea to the charge of possession of methamphetamine. In exchange for her plea, a charge of possession of marijuana and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge were dropped.
Sentencing has been set for July 7th.
McGuire was arrested on March 30th after the Atchison Police Department responded to a disturbance call at a residence located in the 700 block of Kearney. Upon investigation, McGuire was observed trying to throw a bag of what was later determined to be methamphetamine out of a window.
