(KTNC) - It will cost more to swim at the Mound City Pool this summer.
The Board of Aldermen approved a Park and Recreation Board recommendation to increase the pool fees.
Season passes will cost $125 for a family of four, plus $20 for each additional family member. An individual season pass is $65, a 10-swim punch pass is $25, and a 25-swim punch pass is $65.
The daily admission rate is $4 for adults and $3 for kindergarten through 12th grade students. Admission is free for children age four and under.
There is a $75 charge for pool parties.
Water Superintendent Randy Crowley told the council that city crews were painting the pool this year. He said the paint is a darker blue than what has been used before. Crowley said they have also made changes in the dressing rooms to make the facilities handicap accessible.
