Nebraska State Colleges Award Scholarships

(KTNC) - The Nebraska College System has awarded over 100 Board of Trustee Scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Nebraska. A Board of Trustee Scholarship provides recipients with full tuition, and is worth nearly $17,000 over four years.
 The State College System also awarded the Governor’s Opportunity Award to three recipients, one each at Peru, Chadron, and Wayne State Colleges.
 The Governor’s Opportunity Award provides half of the college tuition costs. Both the Governor’s Opportunity Award and Board of Trustee Scholarship are renewable for four years.
 Recipients of the Governor’s Opportunity Award include Natasha Sejkora of Burchard, who received the award to Peru State College.
Thirty-five students received Board of Trustee Scholarships to Peru State.
The Nebraska State College System serves nearly 9,000 students at its three institutions, Peru State, Wayne State, and Chadron State College.
