(KMZA)--Several suspicious fires are under investigation in Nemaha County, and the Sheriff's Office is turning to the public for help in solving who might be behind them.
Sheriff Rich Vernon says there are not yet any definite leads developed regarding possible suspects. “In recent weeks, the Nemaha County Sheriff's Office has been investigating several fires that have been happening throughout the county. These fires appear to be suspicious in origin, starting along roadways and other areas. What we're asking is the help of the public if they see anything in the county out there that looks suspicious. If you see any vehicles, also get some good identifcation on the vehicles if possible.”
Anyone who has information related to the investigation is urged to call (785) 336-2311.
