(KLZA) -- A lengthy agenda awaits the Falls City Council members when they meet Monday night at 7.
Andy Snyder with Smith Hayes will meet with the Council to discuss a resolution to call payment for series 2009 bonds on the Library and Aquatic Park and a resolution to issue series 2014 bonds.
J.L. Spray representing David Leon Frederick will address appear at the meeting to discuss the utility rate ordinance. Dan Duren with Benefit Management will present a mid-year report on health insurance costs and Librarian Hope Schawang will present a report on the Biannual Community Clean-Up.
Second Ward Council Person Angie Nolte will discuss the intersection at 19th and Stone Street and Eric Froeschl is requesting two, 1-hour parking stalls be placed in front of Falls City Auto Supply at 1820 Stone Street. Froeschl is also going to request that one parking space be eliminated on the west side of Stone Street between 18th and 19th Streets so the remaining spaces can be widened.
Council members will also hear a request to make the parking space on the southeast corner of the Courthouse at 17th and Harlan a no-parking zone. Requests for a barbecue contest and motorcycle show in July will be discussed.
Requests to erect a metal building at 1724 Harlan Street by W & D Auto Care will be heard as will a request to erect a metal building for a garage and shop at 1924 Fulton Street.
A number of housing rehab project bids will be up for approval as will a request to place a temporary STOP sign on McLean Street at 35th, during construction at Brenner Field. Richardson County Emergency Management is asking to use Stanton Lake Friday, May 23rd, for a mock motor vehicle accident event during EMS Week.
