(KAIR)--An Atchison woman has been arrested for the second time in a week in connection with an alleged case of violating a protection order.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says 20-year-old Janice Jimenez-Saavedra was arrested last weekend for allegedly contacting the victim in the case electronically. She was charged with violation of a protection order.
Jimenez-Saavedra was transported to the Atchison County Jail, where she posted bond and was released. She allegedly contacted the victim for a second time soon after.
Jimenez-Saavedra was arrested again on Tuesday, and is facing one count of violation of a protection order.
