(KAIR)--An Elwood man was issued two citations following an Atchison County rollover wreck that took place over the weekend.
According to Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie, 25-year-old Jessie Smith was traveling on 234th Road near Rawlins Road late Saturday afternoon when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing his pick-up truck to roll into a field.
Smith and his passenger, 24-year-old Lindsey Tull of Cummings, left the scene. Tull was transported by private vehicle to Atchison Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Smith was issued citations for failing to report an injury accident and for having no tags on his vehicle.
