(KAIR)--An Atchison man is in custody after allegedly taking part in a disturbance late Thursday evening. According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, officers were called to a residence located in the 1900 block of Harper Drive for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, they observed 28-year-old Joshua Pace making threats against a 25-year-old former girlfriend who resides at the residence.
Pace had previously been issued a protection from abuse order regarding his current girlfriend, and, since she was on the scene as well, he is also facing a charge of violation of a protection order in addition to one charge of criminal threat and one charge of disorderly conduct.
Pace remains in custody at the Atchison County Jail.
