(KTNC) -- With the Falls City Tigers advancing to the Boys’ State Basketball Tournament next week, there are changes in the District 56 schedule.
There will be no school on Thursday, March 13.
The second day of parent-teacher conferences, which was scheduled for Thursday, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 12, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Also, Monday, April 21 – Easter Monday – will now be a regular school day for Falls City Public schools.
The Tigers are the number-3 seed and will play Wahoo in a first-round game at 10:45 a.m. on March 13, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. If the Tigers win Thursday, they would play a semifinal game at 9:00 a.m. Friday at Pinnacle Bank Arena against either Cozad or Wayne.
Tickets for Thursday’s game can be purchased in advance at the high school office, while supplies last, beginning on Monday. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for students.
